DELIVERY & SHIPPING
All items marked as “in stock” are generally shipped within 7 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout when you enter your delivery country. If an item is actually out of stock due to an inventory error, I will contact you as soon as possible via email or phone.
All prices are in €. International orders may be subject to customs, taxes, import duties, or other fees imposed by your local authorities. You, as the recipient, are responsible for any such charges.
Customer responsibility: Please ensure that your delivery address is entered correctly. We are not responsible for items delivered to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
PICKING UP YOUR ORDER In addition to standard shipping, you can also choose to pick up your order at our studio in Weesp. To do this, select “Pick up at the studio” at checkout. Once selected, I will email you the available time slots for pickup.
ORDERS FOR LARGE OR HIGH-VALUE PIECES Shipping for large or high-value artworks varies depending on the size, weight, and destination. Once your order is placed, I will personally calculate the shipping cost and get in touch with you to arrange the details. To avoid automatic shipping fees at checkout, you are welcome to select the pick-up option. If you choose delivery, please make sure your address is entered correctly so your artwork arrives safely.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER All orders shipped by April van Domburg are fully traceable. Once your artwork is handed over to the courier, you will receive the tracking details. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking link to become active. If you cannot access tracking after this time, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@aprilvandomburg.com.
IF YOUR PACKAGE DOES NOT ARRIVE If the carrier cannot deliver your piece because you were unavailable, please reach out to them directly via email or phone. Should the issue remain unresolved, contact us at info@aprilvandomburg.com.
If the item is returned to us and you still want it delivered, new shipping costs will apply. If you no longer wish to receive the artwork, we will issue a full refund of your purchase, excluding the original shipping fees.
VAT & DUTIES
All ceramic pieces are shown including 9% VAT. Please ensure you take into account any potential customs and import fees and taxes before you place your order. They are the responsibility of the customer and may be applied on orders shipped to countries outside the EU.
RETURNS, CLAIMS, WARRANTY & DAMAGED GOODS All sales are final, and we do not accept returns. Pre-orders and made-to-order pieces can only be cancelled before production begins.
To ensure that your artwork meets your expectations, you are welcome to visit the studio in Weesp and view the piece before purchase. This way, you can experience the work in person and avoid any surprises.
CLAIMS & WARRANTY
For complaints due to quality issues please contact us through info@aprilvandomburg.com and send us detailed pictures and descriptions of what is wrong with the item along with your ORDER NUMBER (found in the order confirmation e-mail).
PAYMENT We accept payments via iDEAL, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and any other methods clearly listed on our website at the time of purchase. You can also choose PayPal, which will direct you to the PayPal site to review and confirm your payment before returning to www.aprilvandomburg.com.
By placing an order, you confirm that the payment method used is yours or that you are authorized to use it. All payments are subject to validation and authorization by the card issuer or payment provider. If a payment is not authorized, we cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery. We take care to ensure that your transaction is secure, using standard security measures. While we make every reasonable effort to protect your payment information, we cannot be held liable for any loss if a third party gains unauthorized access to your data, except in cases of our negligence.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All artworks and website content remain the intellectual property of April van Domburg. Reproduction, commercial use, or redistribution of any artwork, image, text, or design without explicit written permission is prohibited.

GENERAL CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Ceramics: Handle with care, avoid stacking heavy pieces and protect them from sudden temperature changes, which can cause cracking. Use gentle cleaning agents and a soft cloth or sponge rather than harsh detergents.
Vases: To make cleaning easier, you can place a smaller container inside the vase to hold flowers. Please note that some vases may not be completely watertight. Avoid leaving water standing for long periods to protect the glaze.
Additional Tips: Dust regularly with a soft brush and avoid exposing ceramics to direct sunlight for long periods to preserve colors and finish.
